I have visited New York City dozens of times. And yet, though I've never been a resident, I have this strong affinity for it. I still harbor hope that I will someday live there, no matter how brief and live in full experience. In the meantime, this time lapse video is so amazing and well-done, it nearly brought me to tears. Happy Monday!
Tumblr
I might be a little late to the party, but I just joined Tumblr. Join me... Happy Friday!
Designer Inspired Runs
Since just wrapping up my blog posts on my first marathon, I find it not coincidental that this weekend marks, not only, my 2 year anniversary of my marathon premiere but also the culmination of my marathon training for my 3rd marathon, my 20 mile run (for the Seattle Rock N Roll). So, I thought it appropriate to share some something and someone that inspires me, as a designer, runner and in life generally, Julian Bialowas and his project 365Q.
Here's to my 20 miles tomorrow and to tapering in the rest of the weeks to come!

Happy Tuesday!
I am off to get outside for my lunch run. Always inspirational.
Blog More. Think Less.
I tend to over analyze my blog posts before I even put them up. Which in turn paralyzes me to not posting enough. So, for today's post, it's simply a few photos I took my on iPhone while on a walk at lunch yesterday.
Print Party Like It's 1999
A few weeks ago the office I work for moved from Culver City to El Segundo. Though I have only been with the company for almost 2 years, they had been in that space for over a decade. So, you can imagine what packing up consisted of. In this process, the marketing/media director rediscovered his old collection of Print and Communication Arts magazines. He offered up what he didn't want to pack up with him to the designers and creative department. It was hard to see a lot of good print go in the recycle bin. And one cover in particular caught my eye. It was the 1999 cover of Print magazine. I had to have it and share it. It's a classic!
